The church was organized on December 26, 1965 with 103 charter members. They chose the name Temple Baptist Church.
On July 11, 1982 with the new location the church changed their name to First Baptist Church of Rosedale.
In April 2006 the church again had a name change, it was changed to Crossover Church of Rosedale.
